AAA
The Re-Jargonator
AAA came to us needing a way to remind people of their expertise in a wide variety of topics. They don’t just deal in car insurance — they’re the gurus on travel, finance, life, and all of the complicated terms that go with it. Along with my creative partner Boston Heath, we came up with a simple but fun idea: The Re-Jargonator. Why not explain jargon with new jargon - terms people may actually understand. Don’t quite understand what amortization is? No… but you may understand what it means to break up your run into manageable chunks. And so the concept was born - we’ll de-jargon jargon … by rejargoning it. Confused?
From concepting & writing, to cinematography, to final coloring, I saw this project through to the end and I’m so proud of how it has been received. The Re-Jargonator has won a Silver Pencil at the One Club Awards in 2020, and won #3 at the Ad-Club Top 50 ideas in Colorado for 2020.

In His Shoes
Humanizing an often distrusted service, AAA sought to shine light on their certified tow truck drivers and show how their core values begin with calming and aiding those in need. We follow the story of Tim, a AAA tow truck driver in a small town in Virginia, and how his life is founded on the belief in helping others.

The Wonderful World of Adulthood
There was a time when adulting wasn’t a “thing”. When you just grew out of your parents house and had to figure it out. Why did it seem so easy for our parents and grandparents to figure it all out? AAA is here with the definitive guide to "adulthood".
Role: Cinematographer
Meet in the Middle
The Covid-19 pandemic lockdowns kept families apart and took a toll on everyone. As the world opened up again AAA sought to remind people of how the outdoors and the American roadtrip revitalize our lives and - in this instance - reunites a split family.
Role: 2nd Unit Cinematographer
Campground
AAA has a long history of dedication to the national parks of the United States. An early advocate for highways and road safety, and increasing access to our nation’s most treasured vistas: AAA Campground tells the story of The Smiths. With generations of stories from family camp trips to Yellowstone, this found footage video allowed us to honor the beautiful stories of real AAA members while reminding the public of AAA’s century of hard work and advocacy for our national parks.
